Our magazine “A4” for the German Institute for Standardization (DIN) is now officially “one of the best projects in the German language area”. We are delighted to receive the PR Report Award 2019 in the Content Communication / Analog Corporate Media category. It goes without saying that we dressed ourselves up to the nines for the Winners Night in Berlin on November 14. But what is it about this customer magazine that so impressed the panel of judges – communications specialists from the corporate world, organizations and agencies?
Well, when a magazine is called A4 but uses C5 format, readers are already going to sit up and take notice. And there’s more to this magazine than the target group would expect from such a tradition-steeped, respected institute of standardization. It’s also packed full of excellent reading material, striking images and a pinch of humor – after all, this magazine is designed to entertain, not just inform. The aim is to help DIN alter people’s perception of it and boost its popularity by shaking off the image of being pen-pushing bureaucrats. The magazine is part of the campaign marking the centenary of DIN, which has already been recognized with the international German PR Award.
