… that’s what winners look like: Two projects by Communication Consultants convinced the jury of the 8th ICMA (International Creative Media Award) (page 52 and 61): “DIN – Von Null auf Einhundert”, the brochure for 100 years of DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung/German Institute for Standardization) won the Gold Award in the “Concept” category’s „Corporate Media“ section. The jubilee brochure was designed by the Stuttgart PR agency for the centenary of DIN. The focus is on the past, the present, but also on the future of DIN. CC was inspired by the DIN EN ISO 216 standard that describes different paper formats: six different formats form a booklet, a rubber band holds everything together.

The concept of „success“ magazine won the Award of Excellence for outstanding individual achievements. The employee magazine of Bosch’s Chassis Systems Control division is published three times a year in four languages and convinced the jury with a foldable poster format.

“We are very happy about the two awards as they reflect our strengths – conception, editing and design”, explains Markus Engel, who runs the agency together with Hubert Heinz as managing partner. “And of course we would like to thank our customers for giving us the necessary freedom to realize those award winning projects. Without our customers‘ confidence and their courage to leave the paths of the conventional-secure approach, we couldn’t have realized these two concepts, “adds Heinz.
