By means of this openness, technically demanding automation issues or the corporate strategy are edited to be easily understandable. Providing insights

Balluff is both a family-owned company and an important employer in the region. Therefore, the regional media work in the daily press plays an important role without neglecting the trade press. Less health insurance company, more Schwenninger! Instead of the hundredth allergy advice, the customer magazine published by the health insurance company Schwenninger Krankenkasse puts people and thrilling stories in the spotlight. The themed magazine leaves trodden paths, takes heart and shows new perspectives – thanks to an authentic visual language. Fun meets facts: The mix of topics includes news from the insurance company, interviews, detailed reports, infographics and entertaining as well as (un)necessary facts. Editorial content and company topics are, however, strictly separated - so the reader knows what to expect. In a subtle way, the magazine perspektive carries values of the company, positions it as a reliable service provider and therefore strengthens the image. For the biggest possible synergies, all topics are harmonized with ongoing marketing activities by the Schwenninger. All actions are meant to enhance the connection between customers, partners, employees and the Schwenninger and to arouse interest of new customers.

Digital. Innovation. Engineers. That´s mimacom. In other words, now also visible, noticeable and marvelously adaptable as a brand on all channels. At mimacom, more than 220 consultants, software architects, developers and specialists work for individual software solutions for complex digitalization projects. Ranging from clouds, to IoT platforms, and enterprise solutions – the products of mimacom are not always easily conveyed by one click. That´s typical for B2B and therefore, a typical case for us.

This project has shown that brand positionings can be realized very quickly. Already a few months after our first workshop, the new mimacom website went live in record time. Due to Scrum and Co., we could sharpen the brand profile, develop the corporate design and implement the web design before, within just a few weeks. In doing so, we were perfectly supported by the agile software developers from mimacom who coded parallelly. Also, the SEO concept as well as the on-page and off-page optimization went in rapid succession and, above all, hand in hand with mimacom.

Movement is good for a company, but if it’s channeled in different directions, it can be difficult to maintain a sound balance.  In the late 2000s, Metabo’s attempt to straddle the market for DIY enthusiasts and tradesmen became an increasingly difficult challenge for the tradition-steeped, southern German electrical power tool manufacturer. So the new CEO Horst W. Garbrecht ordered a conscious repositioning of the company in 2009.

In order to cement the right image in the target groups’ minds, we joined forces with the Board of Directors to develop the “Metabo Story”. While the Nürtingen workforce is focusing hard once again on manufacturing electrical power tools for professionals, we produce the appropriate content for state-of-the-art media work, social media and speakers’ opportunities. We bring the kind of real stories to life that readers find authentic, credible and fascinating. And we work on continuously developing the overarching communications strategy.

Metabo has shown dynamism, flexibility, courage and passion to shore its position long-term in the sector – away from the precarious balancing act toward a sure-footed approach and the status of an innovative and globally successful pioneer. In turn, we support Metabo’s efforts to galvanize professionals’ faith in the brand with a great deal of creativity, profound understanding, smart communications measures and a campaign that reaches the target group.
