Good content has a huge appeal and at Communication Consultants (CC) apparently we do too! So much so, that we even attract back former colleagues such as Oliver Boergen (38). After several years, he has returned to his old workplace as head of consulting. He started his career at CC in 2002 and was part of the team until 2007 – first as a BA student, later as a junior consultant. After twelve successful years “abroad” (among others at Ketchum Pleon, the German Institute for Standardization and most recently at C3), Oliver is now back at the leading PR agency in the province. “CC has always been my PR home. That’s why it feels like coming home after a long journey,” says Oliver Boergen.
At C3, Oliver was responsible for the strategic development of large customer accounts and new customer acquisition. As a business director, he reported directly to C3 CEO Christian Breid. In his function as press spokesman and senior manager, he was responsible for external communication at the German Institute for Standardization, where he expanded the PR infrastructure and set up the content and media relations strategy. For DIN, together with CC, he has also developed the anniversary campaign “From zero to 100”, which has just been awarded the International German PR Prize. At Ketchum Pleon, he headed the corporate affairs and brand team at the Berlin location.
With so much experience in corporate and brand communication in store, Oliver Boergen is now head of consulting at CC responsible for business development, strategic consulting and new customer acquisition. He reports directly to the CC management in the newly created position.
